I am currently on skinID:
- 2% salicylic cleanser
- 2.5% benzoyl perox. cream
- 2% salicylic acid lotion

This does dry me out, and I find myself lathering lotion on immediately afterwards.
Would I be better of using Cetaphil cleanser and a mild (2%) anti-acne lotion ?

SkinID literally ruined my skin… Turns out im allergic to the fragrances in their products but thats a different story…

I’ve literally tried every Over the Counter Acne treatment available and they’ve all done nothing but dry my skin out. A dermatologist would recommend either a topical cream (usually 3% BP and an antibiotic [usually clindamycin]) or an antibiotic pill. If your acne is really severe they may put you on Acutane.

idk if bar soap is good for my skin or not. and it dove good please help?! ive been having problems like acne and dry skin and i cant take it anymore i use clean and clear but tht stuff sucks it doesnt work HELP?!

of course it’s not good for your skin. That was discovered like 3-4 years ago…catch up!

All it does is BREAK out our skin even more and leave it dry and it cloges.

IT doesn’t matter what type of soap..soap is soap so stick with a FACIAL cleanser…since thats for your FACE.

Pssh bar of soap seriously? Soap is to wash your hands and your body and your going to put in on your face??…When there is FACE CLEANSERS meant for your face.?

do whatever ur acne cream lotion says 2 do on the bottle. it should say somethign like: “apply after washing face” or “use after gently scrubbing” or “use after using this product”
