Q & A: What acne solution, such as acne treatment do you recommend?

request of Jemz : What acne solution, such as acne cream do you recommend? Some examples are Proactiv, Clinique and Avon. Do you know any others that you think and work very well. And can you give me a lot of information on how, how long until you see results of what it means, how it works, etc. Thank you! Best answer:

reply toosxy2b14 You should really try Proactiv
it really works and you can see the results within a week.

acne is dirt in your skin that comes from the inside.. were those products listed above only cleans the out side.

i tried every thing.. and nothing worked untill i tried reaccutane. its a prescription drugg and ull need to go to a skin docter first..

but hey its also a very strong dangerouse drugg.. and kinda a last call thing.. so good luck with your acne…

I use proactiv, and it worked well. But what worked even better was the Timeless Prescription 3-peice acne set. Go to the Market America website, and look it up.
And no, I don’t sell “market america” stuff…this product is just so good I like to tell people about it.

well i use Acnefree which you can get at walmart. it is like proactive but not as expensive and it works great. it says you may see results in as little as three days but it depends on your skin type and how bad the acne is, etc. it took about three weeks to see results for me (i had moderate acne and am still in the process of clearing up) but it does not dry out your face which was a big problem for me. now i just need to figure out how to get rid of the red marks left over from the pimples……

First you have to sit back and figure out why you have acne. I know a quick fix is a real temptation but if you do it right you can get rid of the acne for ever. The face treatments you have mentioned all come with some degree of quick fix – they might clear up the immediate outbreak – but they also attack your skin and leave it dry and damaged or oily and shiny.

Acne is caused by an over production of male hormone in guys and girls and that causes an increase in production of sebum which is the white stuff in a pimple. That sebum blocks up the glands in the skin and infection sets in – acne outbreak. So take care of the sebum buildup and your acne goes away.

Eat green vegetables. Cut back on processed meat. Wash your face with cleansing gels and soaps. Don’t use the antibacterial stuff – it’s too harsh for your skin.
