I have heard people talk about Erybenz and stuff like that. People, Erybenz and benzoyl peroxide ARE TO ONLY TO BE USED IF A DOCTOR HAS INSTRUCTED YOU TOO. That’s why you all get all swollen! Jesus Christ it’s YOUR SKIN we are talking about here! Just go to a dermatologist instead of watching some random guy on the Internet talk about APPLYING benzoyl peroxide like it’s an everyday cream..

  2. ABeautyAddict says:

Do you have to use this forever?

  3. Cold187um101 says:

@alex1sage Yes i have exactly the same problem. Im getting pretty bad swelling about 2 cm’s under my eyes and its making it all puffy and red. Dammit im going to have to stop using it

  4. jimmymanager says:

@thelastestscoop you don’t rinse your face after applying bp.

    you should:

1/ apply cleanser, rinse off and then wait 10 minutes
2/ apply bp and then wait 10 minutes
    3/ apply moisturizer on top

  5. martinmecha says:

he is lying… its not Benzoyl Peroxide!!

  6. thelastestscoop says:

wow! i found your video, easy to follow and informative. thanks! however, i have one question. After applying this gel, how long should you wait to rinse your face? i feel like i rush it, i only leave the gel on my face for half a minute. could you please help me out, i just started using this gel two days from now. thanks in advance! =]

  7. DanAcneOrg says:

@alex1sage Swelling is never a good sign. Either you started out with too much bp too soon, or you are allergic to it. Discontinue the bp for now and if you want to retry it at a later date, just test a very tiny amount on one area and see if you still get the swelling. If you do, it sounds like you are allergic and you shouldn’t use it.

I’ve been using 2.5 benzoyl peroxide for three days now. my face is red, irritated and swollen! I haven’t quit yet because a lot of websites and people say the first few days they experience redness and irritaion but none has mentioned swelling. does this swelling mean I am allergic to benzoyl peroxide? the swollen areas have a lot of little bumps too! help anyone?

  9. grippipo says:

This is the best acne treatment out there. When I used it I had NO acne. Stopped out of laziness and now my acne is back. Just ordered more today!
GET IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT IT.

  10. shakiin000 says:

womder if this product works for my adult acne around my temple.
    it’s been there for ages.

  11. ZwienerZ says:

I’ve used this stuff for about a year now. It works for me, but he uses way too much in my opinion. I probably use less than half and it’s perfect for my face, but whatever works for you.

  12. LethalTech01 says:

I got a complaint about the bottling of the 8 oz. The cap where you pop open is realllllly loooose. The packaging had a hole in it, and i think like some dust might have gone into the bp. So if you can, get a cap that can snap shut. I know its for easy opening, but if you can, please do it. Thank you.

  13. snoozeyoulose19 says:

See my video to see how I got rid of severe cystic acne!

  14. snoozeyoulose19 says:

@lifprasir – Keep benzoyl peroxide away from your hair and your eyebrows. A few hairs on my eyebrows went ginger after using hydrogen peroxide, and my baby hair (the short hair on my forehead) turned bleach blonde and I am mousey brown! As long as you’re careful, it’s fine. It will make your skin a bit paler though this wears off.

  15. panpeus says:

Salicylic acid doesn’t make a dent in my acne. BP is amazing.

  16. aaronracine says:

use proactive its the best my grandpa is a dermo trust me on it and use the pads and body was for chest shoulders and back if u have acne anyone need questions help messag me

  17. vjm3 says:

@vjm3 Strange it didn’t post while my second one did. To create a cheap but effective Salicylic Acid paste, take two uncoated Aspirin tablets and dissolve them in little water. You will get a paste that you can put on your face and use like regular Salicylic Acid products. Be careful out in the sun it makes your skin 50% more suseptible. Use a moisturizer with an SPF count in it to protect it. Cheaper then this guy’s website’s regiment demanding $35.00.

  18. vjm3 says:

So lets see what he has to say to enforce the idea of buying the websites product instead of the one I mentioned in my last post just minutes ago. The SPF UV sun protection moisturizer and the two Aspirin technique is ten times cheaper and will last longer, and will be just as effective. (Be aware that the use of Salicylic Acid makes your skin 50% more suseptible to harmful UV rays from the sun, hence the need for the moisturizer afterwards).

Go ahead dude, i’m stealing your customers. :/

  19. DanAcneOrg says:

@lifprasir It may. We don’t get many complaints about hair bleaching, but it is always a possibility with benzoyl peroxide.

    Brandy (replying for Dan)

  20. DanAcneOrg says:

@Jenivera Are you using a good moisturizer? You may apply a few extra drops of jojoba oil to your moisturizer to help with the dryness.

    Brandy (replying for Dan)

  21. DanAcneOrg says:

@KapoleiHurricanes4 Correct. You leave it on.

    Brandy (replying for Dan)

  22. DanAcneOrg says:

@GiRESZE Use 2.5%. It works better and has fewer side effects such as dryness and irritation.

  23. GiRESZE says:

Can i Use thE 10% Benzoyl Peroxyde..?????

someone tell me please..because i want to star now !!! …

  24. ga0gao says:

so how long afterwards do you wash it off? when do you use moisturizer?

  25. KapoleiHurricanes4 says:

So leave the BP on and don’t wash it off after 5-15 minutes?

  26. specialonebts says:

  33. ScHnAb1nAt0r says:

Benzoyl Peroxide is better, 20:80 with Ammonium Nitrate. Better than a M80.

  38. DixieDaisy10 says:

Oh and I don’t know if it is important or not but I thought I should mention that I have fairly oily and sensitive skin. Thanks again so much for your help!

  39. DixieDaisy10 says:

Thank you so much for all of your help and all you do! You are wonderful! I have a question for you if you don’t mind helping me out. I have acne issues and I am bad about picking at them which I know is bad but it has left some discoloration/scarring (not exactly sure what you would call it-I am not good at the beauty thing) and I was wondering if you knew a good way to get rid of it-especially a more natural method. I appreciate any help you can give me!

  40. tinytoma25 says:

….broke me out like crazy!!! :’( so now my skin looks awfull and is full of acne! :’( so my question is (FINALLY) what do you recomend? i saw you use the rite aid brand and im tempted to give that one a try? have you ever used the clean and clear one? i always heard so many good reviews on that one and for me it didnt work. please any advice would greatly be appreciated! ;)

  41. tinytoma25 says:

so my doctor was the one that introduced me to 10% benzoyl peroxide but the one she recomended at first was only by prescription only and it was amazing!!! it got rid of my acne! but then it got to pricey ($25 per tube) she then told me to just use a $4 one that you would just get at a pharmacy? and that still worked not as great as the first one that was prescription but it did the job. i then tried the clean and clear 10% because the pharmacy brand got discontinued! but the clean and clear…

  42. leahwoodfield12345 says:

  44. Rycon973 says:

You can use one in the morning and one at night.

  45. vykyvt says:

Benzoyl Peroxide took a while for my skin to get used to..it gave me a sunburn affect..but it really worked once my skin got used to it..i dont need any of this stuff anymore though..i used hydrochloride tetracycline…it worked sooo well..it pretty much makes you allergic to the sun..so i stopped it once that summer came..but i havent had nearly as bad ance since i used it (about 7 years ago)..just normal ‘that time of the month’ acne

  46. LiveLaughLoveTrees says:

yeah but most of the time the “knock offs” are produced in the same factory with the same exact ingredients. So honestly save yourself the money because its the exact same thing.

  47. creejay says:

one thing to also consider is that benzoyl peroxide AGES your skin, so long-term use could make you appear much older when you hit your 30s. The reason for this damage is oxidative stress (caused by the oxygen obviously).

  48. Fentstur says:

    WAAAY HELPFUL.
    THANKYOU.
    (:

  49. sansaview says:

lol, the creepy guy is me :)

  50. Ukizzmybutt says:
